Murphy Hill Events Rental Guidelines

PRICING
Each rental item includes pricing for a 3 day rental. Under normal circumstances, this should
provide plenty of time to set up and tear down. If you need more time, additional quotes can be
provided. Rental charges apply to all items whether they are used or not and the price does not
include taxes or delivery charges.

PAYMENT
Rental Deposit – Non Refundable deposit equal to 20% of the total rental order. Once this deposit has been paid and the contract signed, the pieces will be secured for your date.
Security Deposit – Refundable deposit if all items are returned. Replacement costs of missing or damaged items will be deducted from the deposit with the remaining amount refunded within 10 days of the return date of the order.

We accept cash, checks, Venmo and Paypal.

RETURNS
China, flatware, stemware and food service equipment must be rinsed free of food and repacked properly in the containers provided. Linens should also be free of food and dry to prevent mildew.
Linen bags are supplied to place dry linens in after your event. Cleaning charges will be assessed for items requiring more than the normal cleaning process. Replacement or damage charges are applied as needed.

REVISIONS
Additions are welcomed based on availability. We will make every effort to accommodate your
last-minute changes.

DELIVERY AND PICK UP
Delivery and pick up services are available. Rates are determined based on location and time
restrictions. Delivery and pick up times outside of regular business hours are available when
necessary for an additional fee.
Delivery and Pickup Fee
~within 0-15 miles of our Weaverville location – $125
~within 16-30 miles of our Weaverville location – $175
~within 31-50 miles of our Weaverville location – $225
~Inquire about distances beyond 50 miles and options for picking up/returning.
Packing, washing, restocking fee – 35% of rental order.
Optional set up services are available for an additional fee.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Responsibility of equipment remains with the customer for the duration of the rental. If the
equipment is delivered, the customer assumes responsibility from the time of delivery until the
equipment is picked up. Equipment must be secured at all times and protected from the elements.
